The whistle Blowers responsible for lifting the lid on the incompetence and mess at Labour Wirral Council around management of local highways have promised to release their “full story” and have accused the Labour ran council of having “led us down a garden path” in a story published by local paper Wirral Globe.
As a local resident and community campaigner I believe It took a lot of bravery for those who spoke out to come forward and now it just feels like the council have turned their back on them and are covering up rather than cleaning up the mess and improving services for residents.
As we start a new year here in 2013 people are still waiting for Wirral Council to just say "Sorry" I hope the Labour Council Leader Cllr Phil Davies stand up and stop leading the brave whistle blowers on a magical mystery tour of spin and delays and let all of the council's dirty washing hang out to dry for the local community to judge and better hold the administration to account.
